Our Acute Medical Unit (AMU) is here for patients who need urgent medical assessment and care. With 33 beds and a dedicated team of specialists, we provide a rapid, comprehensive service so our patients can get the right treatment quickly.
When patients arrive at our AMU, our priority is to stabilise, assess and decide on the best next steps for their care – all within a short timeframe.
