Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is looking for members of the public to take an active role in shaping the future of their local NHS trust by standing in the upcoming governor elections.
There are forthcoming vacancies for public governors in the following constituencies: Chichester, East Hampshire, Elmbridge, Mole Valley, Waverley, and a Rest of England seat for anyone living outside the constituencies where we already have governor representation. Nominations open on 18 August for these roles, which are set to start within the next year.
Governors play an essential role in representing the views of patients, carers, staff and the wider public. They help to ensure that Royal Surrey remains accountable to its community and responsive to its needs. Nominees don’t need to have NHS experience – just an interest in local healthcare and a desire to make a difference.
Visit our website for information about the role and how to self-nominate. The deadline for self-nominations is 11 September.
