Celebrating outstanding work at Royal Surrey | News

The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust annual staff awards ceremony takes place this evening, celebrating outstanding work taking place across the trust. 

Royal Surrey Stars gives the trust an opportunity of saying thank you to staff who have been recognised for outstanding contributions in 2025. 

Colleagues will be recognised across 15 categories, including two awards nominated just by patients. These are for an individual and a team whose work in the trust has particularly touched the lives of a patient or their family during the course of their care. We are very grateful to those who took time to nominate and you can see the three finalists for the Patients’ Choice awards on the Royal Surrey Stars website. 

Across the board, this year’s awards have seen a record number of nominations. All nominees have received certificates and our finalists in each category have been notified. Thousands of positive words have been received in the process and you can read the reasons why all our finalists have been chosen on the Royal Surrey Stars website. 

The winners will be announced at this evening’s celebration at Guildford’s Harbour Hotel, which is possible through the generous sponsorship of organisations who work in partnership with the trust.
