Speech and Language Therapy

Our Speech and Language Therapy team provides assessment and therapy for adults with swallowing and / or communication difficulties.

All of the Speech and Language Therapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and are members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

We provide:

•       Adult acute inpatient service
•       Stroke and neurology service
•       Critical care service
•       Head and neck cancer service, including Macmillan Aftercare and Rehabilitation Service (MARS) outreach to Frimley, Basingstoke, East Surrey and Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals
•      Neuro-oncology service
•       Voice therapy service (including adult dysfluency)
•       Videofluoroscopy service
•       Fiberoptic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) service

Please note, we do not provide general outpatient speech and language therapy outside of the above services.
