Telephony issues – how to get in touch

The front of Royal Surrey hospital in the evening.

Update: Our telephony system is now functioning again. However, it does not have as much resilience as it should do. Use it as normal, but if you experience any issues with the functionality of the system, please use the below as a backup.

Appointment information

If you need to get in touch with us urgently about an appointment, please use the email in your appointment letter.

Update on a relative on an inpatient ward

If you are trying to get an update about a relative who is an inpatient on one of our wards, please be assured that a member of staff will contact you if there is an important update.

You can also contact your family member directly where possible or email our Patient Advice and Liaison team (PALs), who will get back to you as soon they can. However, please be aware that it will take longer than usual for PALs to get an update.

If you are an oncology patient in need of urgent care

If you are one of our cancer patients and are urgently unwell, please contact 999 or 111. Alternatively, email our Patient Advice and Liaison team (PALs), who will forward your details on to the oncology team. You can also contact your CNS where possible.
